Description: Hospice care is for anyone with a life-limiting illness and whose life expectancy is determined to be six months or less if the disease runs it natural course. The hospice team’s focus is to enhance the quality of life wherever the person calls home, through expert pain and symptom care along with emotional, social and spiritual support. Hospice services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week in a home setting or other care facility.
