Massage Therapy: Involves manipulation, rubbing and kneading the body's muscles and soft tissue.
Healing Touch & Qigong: A technique in which the hands are used to direct energy for healing purposes.
Healing Hands/Massage: A type of energy work whereby the therapist moves hands on the the patient's body around the "energy fields" directing the flow of chi or prana.
Neighbors Caring for Neighbors: Matches patients with local bodywork businesses in the community that offer additional free services such as Reiki, Healing Touch, Tai Chi, chiropractic care, massage, reflexology, and acupuncture.
Users of these services have expressed the benefits of helping to cope with side effects of cancer treatments such as nausea, pain, fatigue, worries, and stress.
