Description:
Serving the northern metro’s population of persons with life-threatening illness by addressing non-medical needs and providing respite to caregivers.

Tamarisk volunteers are a caring presence. We create a safe haven for the thoughts, feelings, and concerns of persons faced with life-threatening illness as we attend to their non-medical needs, while simultaneously providing much-needed respite to caregivers, all at no cost to those we serve.

Within the constraints of each volunteer’s non-medical abilities, we are prepared to do whatever it takes to create a safe haven for our companions’ thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
