Nutrition Services at the Clinic
Registered Dietitians are on staff to provide counseling for special diets, weight control or preventative nutrition. Registered Dietitians are food and nutrition experts; they are credentialed specialists on the Brainerd Lakes Health staff.

Nutrition therapy services can help you treat:

Pre-dialysis nutrition
High cholesterol, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, malabsorption problems, irritable bowel syndrome, and diabetes
Nutritional needs for geriatric populations
Eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeating
Food allergies and food intolerance
Food/drug interactions
Weight loss
Sports nutrition
Pregnancy nutrition

The team of dietitians are also available for community education opportunties.
