Description:
Cancer risk can run in families. In the past few years, major discoveries in genetics have led to an increased understanding of how cancer risk can be inherited. Through genetic counseling and genetic testing, it has been possible to prevent cancer in some families and to improve cancer treatment for some patients.
The Genetics Program was developed to help patients and families understand and act on their personal and family history of cancer.
Services are provided by trained, professional Genetic Counselors & Oncologists.
Appointments are available at Robbinsdale, Fridley and Coon Rapids.
