Weekly meetings provide support and education for those grieving the death of a loved one in a safe, non-threatening environment where people may share and understand feelings of grief and subsequently move on with their lives.
Coping with the death of a loved one is one of life´s most stressful experiences. Attempts to deny the confusion and pain of grief promote despair and loneliness. An understanding of the grief process and a supportive and caring atmosphere increase coping skills and lead to personal growth.
