Providing caring support and education for persons who are experiencing the death of a loved one.
The West Suburban Grief Coalition is a joint effort of 18 area churches. Participants learn about the process of grief and share experiences in a safe, caring and confidential setting that offers the hope of personal growth and healing.
Supervision, training and support provided by Levang and Associates, Inc.
Individuals are welcome to attend a meeting at any time or contact one of the area coordinators. There are no fees and church affiliation is not necessary. A free will offering is accepted for refreshments.
Format:
4:00-4:30: Registration & Refreshments
4:30-5:00: Devotions & Speaker
5:00-6:00: Grief Breakout Sessions including spouse, child, parent, partner, sibling, friend, etc.
Location rotates each series between 4 churches in a given year. Call to confirm location.
