Description: Center Flow Pilates, Inc. is a wellness company that provides high quality, individualized training for a balanced mind, body and spirit. They use a combination of Pilates and therapeutic approaches to provide functional fitness and rehabilitation. Their philosophy stems from the realization that core stability and mobility promote a healthy lifestyle and strong bodies. At Center Flow Pilates, Inc. they want to empower clients to seek safe and effective exercise opportunities, to achieve good health and a balanced life.
Private instruction and small group classes are available for the General Public, People in Rehabilitation Programs, and People who are currently experiencing or who have previously experienced Cancer, with a focus on People who are currently experiencing or who have previously experienced Breast Cancer.
Rehabilitation programs focus on Breast Cancer, Women’s Health, Osteoporosis, Aging, Weight Wellness, and Ergonomics. Leah Hanisch Harris of Center Flow Pilates, is a certified breast cancer exercise specialist through the Pink Ribbon Program, Inc., in addition to being a Licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Pilates Instructor. As a breast cancer exercise specialist, she can assess, design, and implement Pilates based fitness programs specific to the needs of breast cancer survivors. At Center Flow Pilates, they provide client-specific fitness programs, enabling a continuum of care after surgery, throughout treatment, and along the road to recovery. Pilates sessions focus on: increasing range of motion to the effected arm and upper body, restoring muscle balance and strength to all the components of the body, and increasing energy. Providing the right education and exercise program will allow women of all ages to live fulfilling lives long after their diagnosis, promoting physical and emotional recovery.
