Description:
Knowledge. Experience. Hope.

Caring Ways is a place for patients, families, friends and caregivers – for anyone and everyone – to find information, clarity and empowerment in their journey to better understand and cope with cancer.

Caring Ways features a lending library of books, videos, DVDs and CDs, free brochures, internet access and Oncology Interactive, an interactive computer program with in-depth information about all types of cancer covering everything from diagnosis and treatment options to supportive care.

Staff and volunteers are available to help guide you to materials that you are specifically looking for and to suggest other materials that may be helpful.  They are also able to help you set up a CaringBridge website, a free online service designed to help you stay in touch with family and friends during the cancer experience.

At Caring Ways you will find more information about programs offered, upcoming speakers, and events that are focused on supporting you in your journey.

Caring Ways Cancer Resource Center is open to the greater community and built with charitable support from the Miller-Dwan Foundation.

Patient & Caregiver Holiday Tea every December
Join them for holiday refreshments, music and good company.  The oncology staff will be assisting with this event.  It’s an opportunity to relax and visit with friends made on your journey through cancer and meet some new faces as well. They appreciate an RSVP at (218) 786-3581 to help plan for the event.
