Cancer Legal Line's mission is to alleviate the non-medical stressors faced by cancer patients and their loved ones by educating and providing them with cancer related legal information, resources and referrals. By educating, informing and empowering cancer patients and their families of their rights and the laws that pertain to them, they may better advocate for themselves from a position of strength and knowledge. By doing so, they may focus their energies on healing rather than an endless loop of "what if" and worry.

Cancer Legal Line is the Lance Armstrong Foundation's first Community Program partner in the state of Minnesota based on the groundbreaking work we are doing to change the face of cancer surviorship in our state.

Our Board of Directors is comprised of cancer survivors, health insurance experts, social workers, and attorneys--all with a personal and professional passion for seeing our mission carried out and easing the burden for those dealing with cancer. 

Cancer Legal Line is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) Minnesota non-profit corporation---funded entirely by private donations and grants. Our services are free of charge to all in need and completely confidential.
