Description:
This program is a service that covers out-of-pocket costs for basic durable medical equipment for people with cancer, who are in active treatment and/or end of life and uninsured or underinsured and in financial need. This equipment is provided through a contracted outside Durable Medical Equipment vendor. A Patient Navigator or Patient Service Specialist can assist you with such requests.
The American Cancer Society provides access to preselected basic durable medical equipment, including hospital beds, bath and shower devices, standard wheelchairs, commodes, walkers and canes.
