Description:
Whether you are a bereaved friend or family member, a teacher, or someone who cares about grieving people, resources and/or support groups are available for you.

A Guide for Survivors is a practical resource outlining tasks and responsibilities following the death of a loved one. A list of suggested, helping books is available at the web site.

Support Groups at Allina Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care include:
 - Motherloss for Daughters for Daughters grieving the death of a mother in the past 2 years.
 - Family Nights for families following the death of a parent. There is a dinner together after activities commemorating the person who died while others clarify who you are as a family now.
 - Daytime Spouse Loss Group can help people learn about grieving process, receive support from others who are grieving, share memories and feelings in a confidential setting.
 - Women grieving Women for women following the death of a lesbian partner.
 - Young Widowed Grief Support Program for young widows ages 25-55. This group rotates locations.
